The Opportunity:
Aurelis Search is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Community Manager on behalf of our client. The community is the heartbeat of this project, and this role is central to its success. The ideal candidate will be a Web3 native responsible for architecting the community strategy, fostering a positive and engaging culture, and acting as the primary bridge between the project's users and its core team.
The Role Involves:
- Strategy & Leadership: Developing and executing a comprehensive community growth and engagement strategy across Discord, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
- Team Management: Recruiting, training, and managing a global team of community moderators, ensuring 24/7 coverage and a consistent brand voice.
- Engagement & Events: Organizing and hosting community events, including AMAs, contests, game nights, and Twitter Spaces, to drive active participation.
- Content & Communication: Crafting clear and compelling announcements, updates, and educational content to keep the community informed and excited.
- Feedback Loop: Systematically gathering, analyzing, and presenting community feedback and sentiment to the product and development teams to inform decision-making.
- Crisis Management: Acting as the first line of defense for community sentiment, proactively addressing concerns and managing difficult situations with professionalism.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 3+ years of experience in community management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role for a Web3, NFT, or crypto project.
- Deep, operational expertise in Discord, including server setup, bot management, role configuration, and security best practices.
- A proven track record of growing and nurturing a large, active, and positive online community.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence.
- A true Web3 native who understands the culture, the memes, and the mindset of the crypto community.
Bonus Points:
- A passion for gaming, virtual worlds, or the Metaverse.
- Experience creating engaging content (graphics, short videos, memes).
- Existing influence or a strong network within the NFT/Metaverse space on Twitter.
