The Opportunity:
We are looking for a highly skilled and security-conscious Senior Solidity Developer to join their core protocol team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying the mission-critical smart contracts that power the network. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes technical challenges and contribute directly to the security and scalability of a leading DeFi protocol.
What You'll Do:
- Design & Develop: Architect, write, and deploy high-quality, secure, and gas-efficient smart contracts in Solidity.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and fork tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of the codebase.
- Security & Audits: Uphold the highest security standards, participate actively in internal and external code audits, and implement best practices to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Protocol Architecture: Collaborate with the engineering and research teams to contribute to the design and evolution of the core protocol.
- Integration & Support: Work with frontend and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of smart contracts with the rest of the technology stack.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
What You'll Bring:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience writing, testing, and deploying production-grade Solidity smart contracts.
- Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), its quirks, and the low-level mechanics of smart contract execution.
- Expert-level knowledge of Solidity and smart contract development tools like Hardhat or Foundry.
- A profound security mindset, with a strong understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., re-entrancy, oracle manipulation, integer overflows) and mitigation techniques.
- Experience working with complex DeFi primitives such as lending protocols, automated market makers (AMMs), or derivatives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fully remote, asynchronous work environment.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Layer-2 technologies (Optimistic or ZK-Rollups).
- Active contributor to open-source Web3 projects.
- Experience with formal verification or advanced security analysis tools.
- Participation in competitive audits (e.g., Code4rena) or bug bounties.
